Small acts of courage can stir the mightiest waves of change— when one voice rises, it empowers many more to follow.
Sparsh Global School undertook a purposeful stride towards cultivating a safe, inclusive, and emotionally secure environment through its SABR initiative against bullying, marked by an engaging workshop for students of Grades 3 to 5 on 10th April.
The session commenced with a compelling teacher-led enactment, poignantly illustrating real-life bullying scenarios and enabling students to meaningfully connect with the issue. Through guided discourse, they were sensitised to the true essence of bullying—its varied forms, profound emotional repercussions, and the distinction between bullying and non-bullying behaviours.
Anchored in empowerment, the workshop equipped students with the confidence to respond assertively, seek support, and advocate not only for themselves but for others, thereby embracing the role of upstanders.
Seamlessly aligned with the school’s 3C Model, the session reinforced the first ‘C’—Character, as students imbibed the values of kindness, respect, integrity, and empathy.
The workshop culminated in a significant realization: a culture of kindness and respect is not incidental, but intentionally nurtured through conscious, everyday actions. By choosing courage over silence and compassion over indifference, students were inspired to contribute meaningfully towards a safe, supportive, and respectful school community.
