“He who does not labour and yet eats, eats stolen food.” - Mahatma Gandhi
There is dignity in every form of labour, and only those who value it, rise in life.
A Special Assembly was conducted by Grade VIII A to mark May Day and to pay tribute to all those who have carried the nation and the society forward by toiling hard. To highlight the dignity of labour, the students staged a short but powerful skit. The skit depicted various unsung heroes and conveyed a strong message about respecting all kinds of labour. One of the students recited a heartfelt poem composed specially for the day. The poem beautifully captures workers' tireless spirit and determination across different sectors.
Our Headmistress emphasized the importance of respecting and appreciating the hard work and dedication of the working class. She praised the students for their efforts in making the event a success. The assembly concluded on a vibrant and patriotic note, with an energetic dance performance that celebrated the spirit of labour and unity followed by rendition of the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and appreciation for the workforce that drives our nation forward.
