“When we choose to think win-win, we don’t compete to be better than others we strive to be better together.”

Grade 2 students joyfully embraced the Habit of the Month “Think Win-Win”, discovering that true success comes from cooperation, empathy, and shared happiness. Through the “Think Win-Win Frequency Posters” activity, learners used frequency adverbs to reflect on how often they show kindness, fairness, and teamwork in their daily lives. Their creative posters beautifully illustrated moments of empathy and collaboration, promoting both language development and self-awareness.

Students also participated in engaging negotiation scenarios, learning that negotiation means finding solutions where everyone feels respected and satisfied. They explored multiple outcomes, realizing that Negotiation = Listening + Expressing + Problem Solving. In a heartwarming reflection, each child shared one fear they wished to face, connecting courage with the win-win mindset understanding that daring to try new things helps both self and others grow.

The session concluded with the uplifting song “Try Everything” by Shakira, inspiring students to celebrate effort, courage, and positivity. Through these experiences, our young learners discovered that thinking win-win is not just about success, it’s about kindness, confidence, and growing together as a community.
