Future Forward @ SGS – Day 2: Orientation Visit
Exploring pathways, building perspectives!

As part of our Future Forward @ SGS – Grade XI Immersion Program, our students visited Sparsh Global Business School on 9 April for an insightful orientation experience.

The visit offered students a glimpse into higher education pathways, diverse courses, and future career possibilities. A key highlight was an inspiring address by Dr. Amit Saxena, who emphasised the importance of skills, time management, and focused goal-setting in today’s dynamic world.

Students also engaged in interactive discussions with college students and mentors, gaining first-hand insights into campus life, academic expectations, and the skills required to succeed in higher education and beyond.

They were introduced to the concept of incubation, understanding how innovative ideas are nurtured into real-world ventures. The experience helped them appreciate:

• The significance of entrepreneurial thinking and innovation

• The role of skills over rote knowledge

• The importance of planning, discipline, and effective time management

Overall, Day 2 enabled students to connect their current learning to future aspirations, making it a meaningful step toward informed decision-making and career readiness.
