“When stories step out of books and into little hearts, magic truly begins.”
Grade 1 and 2 students enjoyed a vibrant and enriching Literary Week filled with creativity and learning. The celebrations began with an engaging puppet storytelling session by teachers, sparking imagination and bringing stories alive. A fun bingo activity further reinforced learning in an interactive manner. Students contributed old storybooks to the class library, fostering a sense of sharing and love for reading. They also explored key parts of a book, building a strong foundation in early literacy. The highlight was the activity “My Story, My Style,” where children confidently narrated their favourite stories using simple sentences. The grand finale saw students dressed as their favourite characters, speaking with confidence and enthusiasm. Their performances, costumes, and expressions added charm to the celebration. Overall, Literary Week beautifully nurtured creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for books.
