Experiential Learning - Entrepreneurship

Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.

Inspired by this idea, Grade 2 students engaged in an activity designed to help them identify opportunities in everyday situations. Presented with a simple scenario—feeling bored with only a hoop at hand—they were challenged to transform a dull moment into something fun and engaging.

The task encouraged students to observe their surroundings and think creatively, much like entrepreneurs who spot potential in the ordinary. With great enthusiasm, they brainstormed imaginative ways to use the hoop and invented games that required nothing more than teamwork and a little creativity.

Classic games like “Broken Telephone” also made an appearance, reminding everyone that joy often comes not from materials but from collaboration and shared imagination.

When ideas didn’t come easily, the teacher stepped in to guide the students, helping them see how even boredom can lead to innovation.

Through this exercise, students developed essential life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking—all while having fun.
