Words have power — and prefixes give them even more!

Our Grade 2 students had an exciting time exploring the magic of words during their Prefix Activity! Using colorful flashcards with the prefixes “un” and “im”, students discovered how just a few letters can completely change a word’s meaning. Through interactive games and creative word-building exercises, young learners turned into little word detectives uncovering new vocabulary, improving their spelling, and deepening their understanding of word formation

The classroom buzzed with enthusiasm as students connected learning with play, building confidence in their language skills while having fun. This hands-on activity not only strengthened their English foundation but also sparked curiosity and a love for exploring new words.
