Experiential Learning: Discovery Hour (Nov 2025)

Our enthusiastic Grade 2 learners had an exciting time during their *Discovery Hour*, exploring how sound travels through vibrations! Using simple paper cup telephones, students discovered that sound can move through a tight string connecting two cups turning a fun classroom experiment into a powerful learning experience.

As they spoke into one cup and listened through the other, their eyes lit up with wonder at how vibrations carried their voices across the string. Through observation and experimentation, they learned that sound needs a medium to travel and that vibrations make communication possible.

This hands-on activity not only deepened their understanding of sound but also nurtured curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking proving that science truly comes alive when children learn by doing!
