Anything becomes easier to understand when learning turns into a hands-on adventure.
Grade 2 students enthusiastically explored the concept of time in their Math class through an engaging, experiential learning activity. Using colourful clock models, children worked together in teams to set, read, and identify different times. They took turns rotating the hour and minute hands, helping one another understand how time changes and how to read it accurately.
As they observed various times on the clock, their curiosity grew. Their eager questions showed how deeply they were thinking and connecting with the concept.
Working collaboratively made the activity even more exciting. Students discussed, guessed, corrected, and learned together, turning the classroom into a lively space of exploration.
The hands-on experience not only strengthened their understanding of time but also encouraged teamwork, confidence, and joyful learning.
