Grade 1 students joyfully embraced the value of perseverance through the engaging story Bear and the Turtles Have a Race. The tale highlighted how every mistake can become a stepping stone to success. To bring this value alive, children participated in an exciting tower-building activity using glasses/bricks. Each correct answer added height to their towers, while mistakes encouraged them to pause, reflect, and learn. The young learners eagerly identified whether they needed more practice in addition or subtraction, showing resilience and determination. With every attempt, they discovered that perseverance is about never giving up and growing stronger with each challenge!
